The Light Lab enables architects and clients to evaluate lighting performance under controlled, real-world conditions prior to procurement and installation. Every test is conducted on actual material surfaces — not simulations.

Informed decisions reduce execution risk and close the gap between what is specified and what is built.

Beam Analysis

Assessment of beam angles and light distribution tested directly on project-specific material surfaces — wall finishes, floor materials, and ceiling planes evaluated as they will appear in the built space.

Colour Evaluation

Comparison of correlated colour temperatures (CCT) and colour rendering performance (CRI) across materials relevant to the project — stone, timber, metal, and textile assessed under candidate light sources.

Glare Assessment

Measurement and visual assessment of comfort levels including UGR considerations — ensuring spaces meet occupant wellbeing requirements before specification is finalised.

Performance Confirmation
